What did Harden say when he was receiving his hollow MVP award?

I understand betting on yourself but this is a pretty extreme example. To me, betting on himself would have been taking a one year "max salary" deal.

Let's say the worst happens and he's just not even remotely the same player when he's fully recovered. Or if he has enough setbacks that he never actually suits up for them.

Just seems like the risk/reward ratio isn't there for boogie.

When I think "prove it" deal, I think of a 1+1 or a 2+1 for reasonable money.

He’s saying frick everybody (maybe) to his own detriment Bc he is mad. He has always had that attitude. That’s why he has never won shite anywhere. He’s a spiteful angry dude.

Sitting on the bench when the game is decided when he could go somewheres else and be on the court when the outcome is decided what a competitor.

I’m legitimately shocked at the reaction of Cousins to G St. He’s so talented but to act like NOW it’s unfair because they did a 1yr deal for a big guy coming off a major injury...?
Maybe Dray can get to him but when people talk about Cousins I assume they don’t really watch him.

That Max salary wasn’t out there. The next best thing is this on a contender. That’s why it was Bos or GS

I don’t really blame him, it could be a great PR move. He gets healthy and plays good minutes down the stretch. Has a few “Boogie has championship DNA now” stories and then goes for big money next year when all the 2016 money is off the books.

He won’t need to play for awhile unlike if he went somewhere that bank on him to make the 8th seed. It’s the perfect rehab both physically and publically

Don't get me wrong, this shite is wild, and there's a chance he comes back relatively healthy by the playoffs, but I agree that we're overreacting a tad to be honest.

GS is the best team I've ever seen already. yea, they can get better, but it's not like the season is wrap now, it's basically already a wrap without Cousins.

Second, if NOP really only offered him $16mil for 1 season(any confirmation on that?) then I can only assume his rehab isn't, at the very least, going great.

And if all else goes GS's way and he comes back crushing it, he's only there for 1 year, as then GS couldn't offer him the huge deal next season that he'd get by showing he's healthy.
