Yeah, signing a vet to help mentor young guys and provide some perimeter d is awful. Especially on a one year deal that will still allow the Suns to have 50+ mil in cap space next year. Just an awful move.

CC wanted to get younger at that spot. We are thankful for what Trevor gave us but he is in the tail end of his career. CC will be the #1 contender on day 1 of the season and when the WCF starts. They are so far ahead of the rest of the pack Trevor doesn’t even really get anyone else close. And when they find his replacement they will be better than last year.
