Love wouldn't be playing 3rd fiddle if he were in Miami.

Mavericks, I'm told, are closing in on a verbal agreement to bring back point guard Devin Harris. Sides expected to strike three-year deal

I guess there should only be like 12 max guys in the league then?
I hate that max contracts exist in the first place, but if they are going to have them, then really only 2-3 guys should get them. To me, if you are getting the maximum that a team is allowed to pay a player, then you better be one of the 2-3 best guys in the league.

What do you think Bosh would average as the guy on Minnesota and Kevin love would average on the heat?
I don't care about your bullshite hypothetical, sorry.

Probably for market value instead of the $3 per deal he signed last year before injuring himself at getting the min.

I think he's better now than he was in Toronto, honestly. He has expanded his offensive game.
No he hasn't. He's taking more 3 point shots, but he's still hitting the same low percentage of those shots. Arguably he may be less talented now because of the physical toll that 11 years in the league can take on someone.

You're an idiot. He's a 30 year old big who uses finese not power and banging around. You switch bosh and Kevin love and love would put up the same numbers as bosh on this Miami team and bosh would put up love type numbers on Minnesota
Sure except for the fact that Love is one of the top 3 rebounders in the league while Bosh is thoroughly mediocre at it and Love is one of the 2-3 best 3 point shooters 6'10 and above and Bosh hasn't improved his 3 point shooter at all in the last 5-6 years.
But other than that, you're spot on.

He attempted more three pointers this season than he did in his first six years combined. Comparing his percentages then to now doesn't make any sense.
He MADE more threes this season than he did in his first 8 years in the NBA.
In 05-06, he was 0/13 the entire season from 3. This year alone, he was 74/218. No matter how you slice it, his game has expanded.

Unrelated, but I totally forgot Lin is due $15 million next season

Bosh would put up 24+/10+ on Minnesota and Love would be around 18/8 on the Heat as the 3rd option. Obviously after this season with d wades declining health he would be the 2nd option and would probably get a few more points and rebounds but his numbers would decline just like Boshs did.
And if Chris Bosh was finally labeled as the number 2 option his points and rebounds would go up as well
Kevin Love would have been the second option on that team at the start of the 11-12 season at the latest. Love is not only better at Wade's only method of scoring - post ups 8 feet from the basket - but he is an elite 3-point shooter as well. Not to mention the whole elite rebounder thing too.

Cool. Doesn't change the fact that his career percentage is roughly 32-33 percent. That's 96-99 points per 100 shots. I'm willing to bet that Bosh could hit more than 48-50 shots per 100 attempts from the post. Taking 3s doesn't mean shite if 1. You aren't making them because 2. No one bothers covering you out that because they don't view you as a threat out there.

I see you conveniently ignored my post.
Chris Bosh's mpg has been dwindling the last 4 years.
He's an inefficient 3 point shooter.
He's not a great rebounder.
He's not a great defender.
How is he going to 'revert' into the player he once was? Meaning 38 ppg, 22-24 ppg, and 10 rpg?
Thx in advance

Asik makes $15 mill
Brook Lopez makes $16 mill
Dwight Howard makes $21 mill
Amare makes $23 mill
Bosh deserves to make more money than all of them. Are all of those bad contracts? Sure. But if they can get that much money, Bosh deserves it too, and will get it.
