I completely agree. I really like how their front office is building that squad, and it's time that shitty fan base realize and support them.
If the Hawks can land Deng to go along with a possible Heat implosion this offseason, then I see no reason to give the Hawks a legit chance to win the East next year. Sounds cray i know

Even if the heat emplode, Indiana, Chicago, and Washington are still around.

We took Indiana to 7 games without our star player. If we get Deng, and Horford stays healthy Indy stands no chance.

Biggest issue for Miami could be this: How does it meet Bosh salary desires, and keep any real space for free agents? Crunch time for Riley.

If LeBron James wants a short-term deal in Miami, why would Bosh commit long-term at a steep discount -- only to get left behind later?

For agents negotiating on free agents w/ Heat, so far impossible to get concrete offers b/c Riley doesn't have precise figures on Bosh-Wade.

This is an unprecedented dynamic in free agency history. Heat's walking a wild tight-rope. If anyone can pull it off, it's Pat Riley.

Meanwhile, Rockets, Cavs pushing closer to creating max contract slots. Deals lined up for Jeremy Lin. Cavs shopping Jarrett Jack w/ a pick.

We need someone to think they're good over there so folks don't realize they're usually fodder for the West champion.
Shush!

We're gotten to the point in free agency where some teams in pursuit think LeBron is more likely to leave than Melo. Stunning turn of events

I'm of the persuasion that even Lebron himself doesn't know what he's gonna do at this point.

And Nerlens Noel starts his NBA career with a powerful dunk

Chris Bosh's reps have made recent calls on market to reconfirm that max slots would be available to him, sources tell Yahoo. Answers: Yes.

I really don't think all of this are smoke screens anymore.
