I'm sure LeBron would be in their ear and noticeable improvement would be made.

For the past 3 years, their defensive rating on average are pretty much the same.
You could throw a thousand LOL's out if you like, but you'd only be laughing at yourself.

Individual defensive rating may be one of the worst stats you can use in an argument. Congrats tho.

If you say so, feel free to disprove me. But you can't so your asinine comment regarding how terrible Kevin Love is defensively holds zero water... especially if we're going to compare him to Chris Bosh.
But I could just take your word for it... whatever that may be worth.

Do you even know how they calculate individual defensive rating?
Do you realize how much Kevin Love's is inflated because of his defensive rebounds?

And? Boxing out and collecting rebound don't count anymore? What's next? Blocking shots can't count either? Because he does that too. How about steals per game? Put them all side by side with Chris Bosh and tell me what you think?
If there's a stat measuring ball on individual defense, feel free to bring it to my attention.
If you're going to continue to say Kevin Love is terrible at defense, at least make an attempt to back it up.
Other than that, you're just making a baseless ridiculous opinion. You're certainly entitled to that, just don't preach it like the gospel. Even if you say it a million times, it doesn't make it true.

How does
=
Defensive rating is a flawed stat. If we are going to use it then you are telling me Kevin Love has been a better defender during his career than LeBron.
I'm not paying $20 to have access to the Synergy stats
I don't have to.
They aren't baseless. It is just general NBA knowledge.

So you think his ceiling is Paul George?
Paul George is better than what I laid out, but that is a good comparison. Paul George is more than a borderline All Star though.
Also, my description is what I think will happen, not Wiggins ceiling. Ceiling is always thrown out there with rookies and is very hard to reach.

Ah, exactly what I thought. You have nothing to back up your claim.
Carry on.

Also, Bosh is a much better defensive player than Love. Not in the same class.

Wiggins will be much better offensively than George. It's weird how he's gone from overrated to underrated. Keep him next to LeBron and they will have a Jordan / Pippen combo.

Maybe he is, but that doesn't make Love terrible.

Its funny- this thread made me think he went from underrated to overrated. To say he is going to be better than Paul George offensively and compare him to the next Pippen? That is putting him in the top 50-100 in NBA history? That may be his absolute ceiling but it is not the most likely outcome.
I like the George comparison a lot. I think he will be similar, just not as good. The fun will be seeing what happens. A very interesting a likable player. Selfishly, I wish they could keep on the Cavs. Such a good situation for him.

I've always thought Love was a really bad defender but I think your arguments are pretty good. He should get more credit for rebounding. I think he is pretty poor before the ball goes up, however.

Yeah, I think a majority would agree Cleveland is the better situation for him. Who knows, maybe he would shine quicker in Minnesota because he'll touch the ball more often. I really want the Cavs to keep him.

Fwiw I'm saying that if he says w/Lebron he can develop into that type of player. Pippen would not have been a top 50 player IMO if he hadn't played with MJ, who he admits pushed him to be great, not just good.
If Wiggins is traded to a team like Minnesota he could develop into an all star but I wouldn't say he's a shoe in to be a HOFer or anything.

So are the Cavs that nervous they couldn't sign Love next season?
They gain $9 mil from Varejao's contract ending, I guess LeBron could rework his deal if he really wanted Love, and you could trade one of the younger guys (Bennett, Thompson, Waiters) and shouldn't that be enough?
