I don't really know what to think about this move.

I think the Lakers did the nose scratch at the Boozer auction and accidentally made a winning bid.

Kobe, Booz and Lin. Hell of a big 3 right there.

Big 4 if you count Bob Sacre

Seriously though, I have no clue wtf they're trying to do this offseason. Boozer isn't going to make the Lakers a playoff team so why sign him when he's only going to take minutes away from Randle?
Can Boozer play the 5 at all?
Posted on 7/17/14 at 4:26 pm to NorthGAVol
That is a Kobe move. Add Boozer to give Kobe someone serviceable to play with.

Can Boozer recycle the "GET DAT JO!" rebound command for Jordan Hill?
Oh man this Lakers season is gonna be great

@Adam_Jacobi 6m
UPDATE: Kobe has already stopped talking to Carlos Boozer.

Clearly, the Lakers bid high on Boozer because he fits well into the system of their head coach.
What's that? Oh...nevermind.

Ed Davis is not a center

The Austin Toros just opened up as a 1.5 point favorite.

All the Lakers need to do now is sign Evan Turner

I know, I'm just assuming he will get some minutes there now that we have like 6 power forwards.

Irving is a career 20/4/6 PG that shoots 45/38/86.
He's good, very good, issue is, he costs max money now. If you're adding Love and LeBron to the mix, they could end up becoming Miami 2.0 in salary issues. Cleveland also isn't Miami in attraction so you may have a harder time attracting vets/younger stars to sign for cheap just to win.
Wiggins' potential could be north of what Irving produces now and could be even on par with LeBron by the time his next contract comes. Irving's isn't close to that considering his per36 has stayed the same throughout 3 years. Not saying his #s aren't great, but keeping Wiggins is a huge gamble that could pay off very well in the long run.
