Monroe and Bledsoe are out there. I expect Phoenix to match, but not sure about Monroe. I think he (or Smith) will be traded.

I think they'd prefer to trade Smith, but that contract has to be as close to untradable as contracts get.

players are not going to ever entertain the idea of a hometown discount for a GM that treats them like baseball cards.
That's a pretty big leap you're taking there considering you don't know the players and you don't know their relationships with Morey, their teammates, the city, family situations, etc. Basically you're talking out of your arse.

Yea we're the ones ruining the thread discussing the rockets and not the posters coming in and posting just to bitch and try to call other posters out without ever posting anything of substance themselves(like you derailing the thread) claiming we posted stuff that we didn't(derailing the thread), telling us we're wrong and then they're wrong(derailing the thread), posting opinions like they know what they're talking about when they don't even keep up with the league(derailing the thread).

yea ok.
players just looooove uncertainty when it comes to where they are playing long term.

Right, let me know when Houston trades or lets a Dirk/Duncan/Parker walk or trades them.

let me know when Morey drafts one of those guys since he says the key is to draft good players (all while he goes about signing and trading for them)

Since he doesn't tank, it's pretty tough to get a Duncan type player. Parsons is one of the greatest second rounders ever.

Other "big" names still out there:
PG- Bledsoe(RFA), Nelson, Bayless
SG- Stephenson, Ray Allen
SF- Evan Turner, Marion, Mike Miller
PF- Blatche, Humphries
C- Monroe, Bynum?

nice try changing argument. But comparing the loyalty of players who have made over 100 million to a player who has made a fraction of that is just silly. And you're acting like Parsons didn't want to stay in Houston when there's no proof of that.

who he just let walk for nothing.
oh right there is that out of his arse rumor Boom is pushing as fact that it was a deal Morey had to make to get Dwight to let him become a RFA.

Parker and Dirk weren't high lottery guys, though. Parsons was definitely a good pick, but Morey has made some pretty bad picks in the 1st round, as well.

oh i made it up? Just like I posted to the other poster let's make a wager on it. Either that or STFU and stop derariling the thread if you please.

He's always picking outside the lottery. Rarely do those players turn into anything.

I want to be a priority. I want a bigger role. (Mavericks owner) Mark Cuban and Coach (Rick) Carlisle made that clear to me, that’s how they view me and that’s what I’ll be in Dallas. I couldn’t be more excited for the opportunity.”

sure sounds like he wanted to be treated like more than an asset.

No doubt, and he's found several rotation players there, so they do a decent job of evaluating players.

wow what an arse you are!
HEY YOU! PROVE THIS ISNT A RUMOR SOME PEOPLE HAVE SAID IN HOUSTON!!!
Even IF a few people have mentioned that rumor in Houston as a possible reason THAT DOESNT MAKE IT FACT

Of course he wanted to play for them after they offered him 15$mil/year. That doesn't mean that he wasn't happy or wanted to leave Houston. If Houston had matched he would've said that Houston is where he wanted to be all along.
