I think they still match Parsons. Rockets need quality depth.

Only 2 years? Interdasting.

I still think he retires on Cleveland unless Gilbert fricks it up.

Him and KD are free agents together in 2016.

WE GET TO GO THROUGH ALL OF THIS AGAIN IN 2 YEAR

Okay that makes much more sense. Prepping himself for that new TV deal.

Doesn't this say they're not matching Parsons?

...why would they sign two SFs to large contracts...doesn't getting Ariza mean moving on from Parsons at a fraction of the price?

New TV deal will likely cause a significant jump in the Salary cap.

Washington would love to replace Ariza with free agent Luol Deng, but only has the mid-level exception to offer him. He's seeking $10M-plus.

No. In the league today teams play small ball all the time. Miami had sets with Shane Batter at PF. Chandler is 6'9 and can play a lot of minutes there. I don't like his contract but he's still a really good player. I hope we match.

James has agreed to a two-year, $42.1 million deal with the team with the goal of re-signing with the Cavs before the 2016-17 season when a new television contract is expected to create a large jump in value of the maximum.

As part of the deal, James will have an option to become a free agent next summer but is fully committed to the Cavs long term, sources said.

So he has a player option after one year?
