the "he made his announcement on national TV" haters are using that as nothing more than an excuse to rationalize their irrational hatred.

?I believe espn payed him and he donated it to charity... am I wrong about that?

I believe ESPN bought the idea from James's people

and the money ended up going to charity... though I believe that was announced after others (esp. media people) starting chastising ESPN for picking it up

remember... ESPN was panned all throughout the journalism circles for doing it

Well it's not just Cleveland. Millions of people though "The Decision" was a dick move. I, for one, didn't care either way though. Just saying.

Can we have this LeBron martyr's vs. LeBron haters discussion elsewhere? It's been discussed ad nauseam on here.

If he had gone to New York or something that wouldn't have bothered me, but the heat are such a bullshitty little expansion franchise in a city with the worst fans in all of sports and he took the easy way out in trying to make a superteam

Did you hear the voicemail he left to one of the doctors that are a part of this case?

That's kind of a dumb thing to say. Why would a free agent ever tell a team he'll be back if he is going to listen to other offers? Carmelo didn't tell the Knicks he'd be back after his last game, but it looks like he will be back.

Would you really be that surprised does have a bunch of cashed stashed away? He's an old Jewish man. They're like pack rabbits with cash.

Not surprising

Sign Bosh first and you still can sign him.

That's a lot for him though.
