Is it though? You seriously think Haslem and D Wade opt out of those contracts without some sort of idea what LeBron was going to do? Has LeBron had any meetings? Chris Bosh opted out of his contract and went on vacation.

Why would there be a need for smoke though? That's the point I don't get.
More motivation for Pat Riley and to convince Miami's owner to spend more.

Because Melo couldn't adapt? Besides teams reliant on ball movement is a rarity in the NBA anyways.

Maybe Wade has some handshake agreement with Riley. Option one: opt out, take less, finish your career with LeBron. Option two: opt out, if LeBron leaves we'll give you a Kobe legacy deal.

Woj and Stein mainly. You haven't seen either of them make Broussard like claims like LeBron is leaning this way or that way.

...and where is Goldenugget? This thread is missing his insight.

I know. Not many others though sadly.

It was a joke. That was the imposter's twitter from the other day. As well as 'Woji'

I have 2 friends from Miami that have been panically retweeting him like crazy the past couple of days

Pat Riley typically does not overpay players, so I can't see this.

I'm just not buying it.. Bron and Bosh want to get paid.. the narrative before was for them to take less to get more depth.

I think by the end of free agency we look up and not much has really changed around the league

Not concerned about LeBron partying with Wade. Might as well get every last use out of Dwyane's handicap parking pass.

Besides the people I actually trust when it comes to the NBA haven't even really paid attention to the idea of him going to Cleveland.

And the possibility of them breaking up could convince Mickey Arison to spend some more money.
LeBron often brought up how upset he was to lose Mike Miller because of money.
I do think Bosh is intrigued by the idea of getting 20+ in Houston, which is why this has seemed to hit a bit of a snag. He was always the one who was pretty vocal about how he would be willing to take less money.
