Magic Johnson was a part of the Lakers pitch to Carmelo Anthony after all. He called in from his European vacation.

I just don't understand the reasoning behind 3 max players, thus destroying the rest of your roster. The Heat got lucky and struck gold twice. I can't see that happening again

This smoke with LBJ and the Cavs has to be real, otherwise Lebron looks bad all over again.
How does Lebron look bad? He has completely detached himself from this entire process.
The notion that the smoke has to be real is just insane considering 99.9999% of the stuff that comes out is just false.
And I say this hoping Lebron leaves to play anywhere other than Miami.
Also, I'm not saying he won't leave. But I am saying that of everything that has been "reported", I'd say at most I've gone from 95% Lebron staying in Miami to maybe 90%, that's about it.

So he can teach Noel and Embiid on how to play with injuries?

Fair or unfair his agent has been linked to wanting Bron to go to Cleveland

So even if it's not true it's his fault?

Yes.
The casual fan is going to turn on ESPN and think Lebron fricked over Cleveland again if he doesn't sign here.

I think I missed these reports.

Right or wrong the general public will say that if Lebron stays in Miami he shouldn't have given Cleveland false hope that he would return, therefore burying his hometown fans twice in a 5 year span.

Carmelo would fit right in with the Cavs defensive philosophy the past few seasons.

Anyone who tries to find reasons to not want Melo on their team needs their head inspected.

Lebron has said nothing publicly to anyone other than he is weighing all his options
He did say that there was no point in meeting with the heat bc he knows what they're all about. Now that he and Riley are meeting I think says a lot about the sincerity of Lebron's consideration for going elsewhere.
I do believe that he will not go to the western conference. nor will melo.

Right. If Lebron has no interest in Cleveland he could've instructed Rich Paul not to talk to him on his behalf. He could've shut it down a week ago and no one would have an issue with it.
But we've been hearing all week from Windhorst that Paul has been in contact with Cleveland on Lebron's behalf.
Windhorst is Lebron's main brown-noser and I don't think he's going to put it out there if it's not ok with Lebron.

Is he no longer the ballstopper that he once was?
Posted on 7/8/14 at 11:41 am to philabuck
I just heard Broussard on the radio on Cowherd's show say he thinks LeBron is favoring Cleveland over Miami and that Cleveland should trade Wiggins for Love.

Outside of this past season the guy has been to the playoffs every season in his career. It is insane that some people can actually think he would be a bad fit anywhere.
