I don't know how that's even allowed. Anthony Davis is still a Pelican player until July 6th

From what I’m reading the league has already stepped in and said Magic can’t participate. Leave It to MJ to break league rules and not even be in the league.

quote:No he has a career 34.1%.. We ain't rounding up a whole percent fam. Also, according to basketball reference he shot an astounding 29.4% from the corner last year.
Jimmy Butler has a career 35% 3P shooting average, but has often taken harder threes. Look deeper and you see: - 38% on catch and shoot - 41% wide open - 40%+ from the corners
I found the ESPN stat showing he shoots 39% on catch and shoot so I guess that's fine. He only averages 2.7/game though so I'd like to see the stat on how many of his 3s are actually catch and shoot.
quote:Aka he takes bad shots. He averages less than 1 three make per game.
Butler is like harden in that he take a lot of contested off the dribble threes that makes his % lower than inferior shooters due to shot type.

This thread is 50+ pages because of Lakers fans banging their chest that AD waived his 4 million trade kicker.... Not sure if this is funny or sad

most of thread is just my admirers posting "fr fr, 100" over and over again

Bad shot? No sir. If jimmy shoots 35% and his sqaud mares shoot 34%, jimmy’s shot is a good one. Playing alongside harden he won’t have to take those bail out threes and he will get more of the catch and shoot variety. And open variety. You can never judge a player on 3 pt % without knowing the types of threes that they take.

Harden will actually have to pass the ball with shot clock left for that to even happen

I just think it's funny that you would think Jimmy Butler of all people would be cool playing a spot up shooting role. I would give it 3 games before jimmy is complaining to the media about standing on the wing while harden dribbles for 20 seconds before making a move.
Frankly he doesn't shoot enough 3s to be considered a good or bad shooter. Numbers don't support him being a good shooter though.
Also, Jim doesn't shoot 35% so..
quote:What bail out 3s is he taking? Is all 2.7 three pointers he takes per game a bail out?

The guy is taking a pay cut to play with harden, he know Exactly what he is getting into. He knows they will win the title. If he wanted to lead a team in shot attempts and lose in rd 1 of playoffs he would go elsewhere.

Everyone bet with Boom and Perfect that the Rockets and Lakers won’t win/make the Finals and we can use the proceeds to fund an ignore list feature so we can do what’s necessary with tweedle dee and tweedle doe.

He takes tougher 3s bc he isn’t a smart player. He takes fade away 3s and contested 3s far to often when he doesn’t need to.

If any player is associated with the rockets boom will find some way to make his fault a positive. But when that player leaves they sucked dick blah blah. You are a hack buba
