Probably not. And this is the same pitch they have been using the last few years "LA, Hollywood, banners, rings". The new crop of players just don't seem to care about that.

Listening to Simmons and Russillo, and Ryen is re-emphasizing that no one knows what Kawhi is going to do, and from what he heard, LeBron's camp is under the impression that Kawhi isn't interested in signing up for what the Lake show is with James...based on them pursuing him last year.

They're going to have to make one hell of a pitch and I don't think they can. He has already proven he can win. It's going to be about what can you do for me, and that's why Toronto will have the upperhand. I think he stays with the Raptors.

Except.....maybe he doesn't want to play with LeBron
Kawhi doesn't seem like a high drama guy, and that's exactly what he'd be walking into.
He could very well sign with the Laker, I'm not saying it's an impossibility. No one can figure him out and I think he could go anywhere.
I wasn't following it strongly last year, but why didn't Kawhi sign with the Lakers last year?

I didn't say any of that, and merely pointed out that the sales pitch isn't going over well and hasn't for the past few seasons.
