Well you arent bright but its by far the best organization in the league
Heady talk for an organization with zero WCF appearances all time and a first round playoff L last year.
Kawhi and PG are great, but you've got to be a bit concerned about losing a top five point guard who carried y'all to the playoffs last year.

Well lets first start by acknowledging that LAC possibly being the best organization in the league right now still doesn’t make his statement true.

By replacing him with the finals MVP?
Laker logic at its finest

Ok so today’s Clippers are a better organization than the one that won the 80, 82, 85, 87, and 88 NBA Championship?
And also the Warriors. The Clips are a better organization than West’s Warriors?

I'm just teasing you about when you claimed SGA was a top five point guard and led the Clips to the playoffs. It's not all that serious, unless you were serious about SGA.

I don’t think the best organization wins every year.
The organization that wins 5 titles in a 9 season span is probably the best organization.

In the 42 years that he was a member of the laker organization, the franchise won 9 championships and played in over 20 finals. But yes, this clipper organization is better

Look, Jerry West isn't stupid. He's going to say the current organization he's with is the best because he's a smart guy.
I give the Clippers respect in pulling off a very good offseason. They elevated themselves into legit championship contenders. I do feel that they actually have to pay that promise off before considering themselves the best of anything.

You guys are looking at on court success and not the full picture that makes up a franchise - the 90% of stuff we fans don’t see.
When West says that, I’m pretty confident he is talking about the workplace culture and the people he works with on a daily basis whose names aren’t on ESPN.

Oh I fully agree. There are just a lot of clipper fans out there who hate the lakers more than they like the clippers and are using this comment as some massive boom over the lakers. When it's just a guy saying what everyone would say about their employer

I have a good feeling that jerry Buss created a pretty decent organizational culture
