The 3 worst defensive ratings of LeBron’s career have been the last 3 years. If you watch him, you’ll see those stats should be even worse. League average is the best you are getting from him on the defensive end at this point.
And no he’s not a top 5 player anymore. Last year he was in the 7-8 range.

League average defense + elite offense and playmaking is basically every other superstar 
Harden, curry, Durant, etcc.
He’s obviously not as good as he used to be but he’s definitely not a defensive liability and still elite in every other area.

Actually, he graded out pretty well individually. D rating is team influenced.

The top 3 players in the NBA last year were Giannis, Kawhi, and Durant. Whichever order you want to put them in is fine, but those are your top 3.

He score the Most points per possession In nba history.
And lead his team to the #5 most efficient offense in league history.
NO player has come close to that level of volume combined with efficiency. He has broken the league when it comes to offense efficiency.

They lost to gsw Bc coach bzdelik didn’t prepare them for gsw w no Durant. GOAT run the same play the whole fourth quarter and coach bzdelik let the team down. Didn’t have the guys prepared to stop it.

He outplayed everyone’s favorite player now, kawhi, against the warriors.
Harden was better V GOAT then kawhi was. Kawhi got lucky to face the “wounded warriors” version of GSW. The warriors might as well been hit by a IED they were so banged up by the end of that series.

not a one of those plays involved harden. Golden state purposefully went away from harden. Bc harden had shut down Kevin so much theh would run harden into a screen to get the switch so someone else besides harden would check Kevin. James was holding Kevin to sub40% shooting in ISO.
