I am totally fine with OKC fans backing their team and hate watching the Spurs. It’s a pretty normal thing to do. I personally think their squad is disgraceful and should never experience joy again, but I get their fans doing some rationalization to make it work.
Spamming the board with twitter links, starting threads for every “dirty” play they think happened, and just general Wemby obsession after he just kicked their asses is what makes me laugh.
And there is a lot of that

Although I don’t remember them being obsessed with Steph for the entire following round after being beaten by him.
It was a constant defense of Harden's playstyle and then jacking up 50 threes a night.
But yeah, I can't recall necessarily freaking out about a certain player. Maybe Kawhi? There was A LOT of Houston Kawhi hate.

Was discussing this with a good buddy earlier, but I can't recall disliking someone like this since KD.
He feels so very forced by the NBA. He's both dirty and protected. The media is reporting on things like him painting in the park and walking barefoot. And maybe it's a language barrier thing, but he's interviews are hilariously bad.
I get that may come off as sour grapes, but I didn't feel this way about Luka 2 years ago to be clear. Or Dame Lillard back when we had PG13.

It does but I get it
You’re supposed to hate him. It’s a rivalry.
He’s no more protected than any other superstar and nowhere near as dirty as a certain player on your team.
I don’t think he’s forced. Quite the opposite. He is passing the neutral/casual fan test pretty often in my personal experience.
But yeah, I 100% get you feeling that way. You’re supposed to.

Pretty much guarantees LeBron plays another yr & goes to SA (with his kid) for another handed championship opportunity.

You’re not going to move me off of “Thunder fans are the most fragile ever” is a hilariously bad take.
Weren’t you the guy that thought my “meet me at Sonic to check knuckles” was a serious invite to fight me in Oklahoma? Yeah…

And where they act like Haliburton’s injury was no big deal
