Some Mavs fans on here were really calling Luka the "greatest player in the world" when the guy doesn't even try to play defense. When he makes a defensive effort, it has to be highlighted.

He's played pretty incredible defense all postseason until this series, all while playing hurt. He does match up terribly with Boston though. All the explosive drive first guys like Tatum, Brown, Jrue...

Now all of a sudden Boston is other-worldly hot. NOW...this game is over, and thus the series is over. Dallas not quite there yet. Not enough offensive weapons. Jones can't be a starter...just can't score it on his own at all. Not even a little bit. PJ has disappeared in this series. Got absolutely nothing from the bench all series.

If you take away the last 5 minutes of game 1 when it was a 30 point game and garbage time and Hardy/Green knocked down a couple shots when nobody was trying anymore, Dallas' bench has combined for 22 points in 11 quarters. That's pitiful.

mazzula. lol. Team is stacked. Denver is the best team in the west would have been much better finals. Wolves just upset them

Minnesota was a higher seed than Denver, so it wasn't really an upset. Discrediting that, what was it, 17 point comeback on Denver's home court is a pretty homer take for sure.

In fact, this year's playoff as a whole has been the worst it's been in a while. I thought last year's was lacking but this one has been terrible.

Lukas next evolution needs to be getting in next level shape.

In the 1st quarter when the Mavs were rolling, they took dough boy out of the game because he was gassed after 5 minutes.... He sat on the bench and the Celtics roared back....Mats had an opportunity for the dagger and Luka's on the bench????

Most of the Western conference series were entertaining basketball at least.

Not as much IRL as on paper. A lot of games have not been tight at all. At best, it was one team dominates one night and the other one dominates the next game. Not many tight games really.

The Nuggets/Lakers series was surprisingly tight though it was 4-1 series. On the East side it was all Boston. Only Philly/NY had some entertainment.

Not that it’s slightly your business, but I have no problem answering:

Geaux Tigers
Who Dat
Lets Go Celtics
Red Sox Nation
Go Bruins (although I still don’t fully know the rules of hockey )
…absolutely frick the patriots.

Though to be fair, I was a Celtics fan as a kid in Louisiana. Something about being Irish and Louisiana not really having a team at the time. And I’ve never been a huge MLB guy but you can’t beat a nice afternoon at Fenway. And the bruins? Why not? Unless they play the Kingfish in the Stanley cup finals there’s no conflict of interest.

The west playoffs were very fun to watch, or at least I thought. The east just sucked because all of the stars for everybody not named Boston was hurt and turned those series into steamrolls. Now you've got Dallas vs Boston, which is an awful matchup for Dallas and to make matters worse, it's basically 2 on 7. If the Dallas supporting cast had played this poorly all along, they wouldn't have beat LAC, OKC, or MIN in the first place. Washington and Jones have disappeared. Boston has taken away the 7' centers by playing 6'5" forwards on them.

DAL - LAC
DAL - OKC
DEN - MIN
DAL - MIN

Those 4 series had very entertaining games.

Luka to the bench around the 3-4 min mark of the 1st has been their rotation for every single series of the playoffs. In the regular season, Luka would play the entire 1st and then sit for 5 min to start the 2nd. Not sure why they changed it for playoffs, but Boston has killed Dallas during those minutes all series.

If it doesn’t impact the Celtics, I love to see the pelicans do well. But let me be clear, push come to shove, I’m Celtics over pels.

In fact, I was rooting for the Celtics and was happy for the win last season when I took this photo from my seat!

Every single win in that DEN/MIN was a dominating game by the winner.

The other series you mentioned were not nearly as entertaining as DEN/LA and that was 4-1 series as prev. mentioned.
