My point was that even with LeBron going nova, SA was very much in the game.

And there is nothing wrong with that statement
The "wrong" in this statement is you stating it implies that that is what I was trying to do, which is, again, wrong.

Why would you even make that statement? It makes no sense whatsoever and had nothing to do with any of my posts.

I got my info about the Game 2 script on Saturday Night but there must have been a revision.

I was correct in the fact that LeBron would have a big game and carry the team on his back, but for some reason they moved that up to Game 2 as opposed to Game 3 like I was intially informed of.

I will try to find out why. The Game 3 script is now up in the air, I will let you know if I hear about what it will be, but even then who knows if they will alter it on us again.

Check the last post on the last page, exactly what you said you didn't say is exactly what you said.

I had to recheck it like 5 times, thinking I F'ed up and someone else said it and I attributed it to you.

You are correct. I was wrong and I apologize.

My opinion remains unchanged, but I was incorrect and not intentionally trying to be obtuse.

Well shite, we've wasted 2 pages as that was my main objection.

All good, I've been there before.

I misjudged your intent, then.

My mistake.

It gets easier to deal with, but you never truly get used to it, or at least I didn't.

The instant I got off of it, I went right back to a "normal" schedule, like immediately, it didn't take any time for me like others.

Take care.

I got the script info Saturday Night... I work 80+ hours a week so I have a life and was unable to get any alteration tip(if one existed) so I can't always be 100% accurate

What's the abberation from Miami's side?

When did I say there was an aberration for Miami? I said that SA hitting 3's at a high rate is not really an aberration and that Miami is playing close to its A game. Don't let your Lebron superfandom muddy your reading comprehension, shel.

quote:

The Spurs can definitely knock down 3s, but I think their 3pt % through 2 games is the most likely number to not be able to be sustained through a series.

If they make one less three last night, they're pretty close to their playoff and regular season average. Again, y'all are making it seem like they are shooting the ball uncharacteristically well. That 6/6 run in the 4th quarter of game 1 is skewing the stats, and they didn't need all of those threes to win that game.

quote:

I'd say both teams are playing solid basketball, not their best.

But Miami is playing very close to its realistic peak. They simply don't have the depth and balance offensively of San Antonio, so to go home tied 1-1 with their limited bench tells me that they've played pretty well so far. The big 3 are shooting well collectively, Lebron is dominating, they're getting solid production from Lewis and Allen, and they've played pretty well defensively outside of a couple of stretches. What more can they realistically do? More production from Chalmers? I mean seriously, they're playing about as well as you can expect a team to play that has no bench and relies on three guys for 2/3 of their production.

This series has gone about how I expected. I thought both teams would split the first home stands, then hold serve at home in 5,6,7 with SA ultimately winning. Miami clearly has the upperhand at this time, and I expect them to win game 3.

Heat are not playing near their peak at all. Last night, allen was bad, Chalmers was terrible, Cole did nothing, birdman was almost non existent, and wade was average at best.

If you think Miami is playing at their highest possible level or near it,
