Exact same as the bubble which apparently wasn’t real basketball and doesn’t count

Interesting

Well this was a full season, so I don't really see your point

Can you remind me who the best 2 teams in the league were pre stoppage in the bubble year?

IIRC the Lakers had just beaten the Bucks and the Clippers back to back before the stoppage. And they were the favorites in the East and west at the time

This is the dumbest talking point.

The Heat got Milwaukee without Giannis for half the series and he was clearly limited when he came back.

The Lakers got Memphis ‘C squad’ and caught the washed warriors because De’Aaron Fox broke his finger.

The whole bubble didn’t count thing is just fans of teams with no banners being weird.

Just point and laugh at them as they wait for their team to make it to the 2nd round one year

Lol. The Kings would have gotten swept by the Lakers because Sabonis is a bitch and Street Clothes and LeChode would have sonned him hard.

If the Lakers win, it's 2023 so it doesn't count

Yep, everything’s the same apart from you know, the rosters.

Lakers and Bucks.

This year it was Nuggets and Bucks.

Bucks lost to Heat both times.

I believe that’s correct.

It’s why I don’t understand the hate for the Disney championship.

Lebron and LA dominated everything they could control. They made moves that resulted in them being the best team in the West and possibly the entire league and then lost home court because of a virus.

And now everyone is back with nearly the same rosters. There wasn’t much of anything flukey about the bubble ring. I get it’s fun to joke about it but the championship was WAY more legitimate than opposing fans care to admit.

There is a thing called being hot at the right time… the lakers are certainly there. But so are the nuggets… this series comes down to two letters. AD.
