Tickets sold not actual attendance in all likelihood. Also TV ratings were down 15-20%

There's always someone who has to say this in any attendance thread like they know someone that we don't.

Not surprising. The N.B.A. is the perfect game for the millennial generation. They can go to the game, eat, drink, play on their phone, socialize with friends, post look at me selfies to Instagram, all while paying zero attention to the game until the final two minutes.
Because they know nothing of importance happens til then and if anything "cool" happens they can watch the replay. And two minutes is pretty much the max for their attention span. The game nowadays fits them to a tee.

Yeah, people are locked in for every second of an NFL or MLB game, right? Possibly the dumbest post I've ever read.

I like basketball less and less each year

Went from being Hawnits season ticket holder and a diehard to watching only the NCAA tourney and maybe some playoff games.

Think all the SJW crap affected me

In what world does the final 2 minutes of a NBA last 2 minutes?
