One of the best dunks ive ever seen, the griffen 360 was pretty sick too, and if he could have got that first one where davis threw it off the side of the backboard that lookd like it was gonna be ridiculous too

Oh yea. All of Griffin's original attempts were insane. He just never finished them and had to dumb down his next attempts to make sure he completed a dunk to go along with the fix.

Exactly. His misses looked great. Then he would do some weak arse similar dunk. His first dunk getting a 49 was a joke. It was basically a 360 with a tiny tweak.

Out of the 8 first round dunks, I would put his 2 at 7 and 8.

Then I when he brought out the car I said "frick it he doesn't deserve to be in the finals, but if he jumps over a car he should win." Then he proceeds to jump over the frickin hood. No more dificult than jumping over a chair. No where close to jumping over a person.

Yea his performance was honestly the worst in contest history for a guy who actually won the event. His fricking 2nd dunk of the 1st round was just a windmill. It was borderline terrible.

I woke up thus morning and the first thing that came to my mind was "poor serge ibaka". And Derozan for that matter.
Dr J jumps a good foot in front of the line and it goes down as one of the best ever. A basically 7 foot Serge Ibaka does a LEGIT free throw line jump and gets all 8's and 9's, including one from an apparent bitter Dr J.

Vince Carter?
I'm not hating on Blake Griffen, just the judges.
Griffen didnt do either of the dunks he wanted to in the first round and settle for dunks that were not as diffucult, Derozan did that and got penalized. Ibaka jumps from the free throw line on his first try and gets a lower score than either of Griffens dunks. To me, that =/= fair/consistent judging.

I know.

Then they sit with tens in their hands while Mcgee took what like 5 or 6 tries to do the three ball dunk. We were all sitting around like "ok, he's ushering in three balls in the hoop... not going to be that impressive." And it wasnt, but for some reason he gets a 50. O well.

I think you should be penalized for not getting dunks down on the 1st or 2nd trys...ut yea derozian and Ibaka both got robbed, their should have been a dunk off all the way around!!

Everyone was more impressive than Blake last night. Any NBA player with a decent vert could've pulled off that car dunk. The elbow in the rim was all show. But holy shite does he make it look easy. His first attempt had he pulled it off the first time around would've brought the house down. Ibaka and Derozan definitely brought it. And I'd have to say McGee's two ball dunk was the most impressive of the night.

Oh and I'm pretty sure his mom made alot of guys happy back in the day.

i'll give this #1 and demar's first dunk #2. then demar's 2nd dunk #3

i wasn't that impressed with ibaka. i'll give him credick for a legit FT dunk, but i'm over FT line dunks unless you go b/w the legs while doing it (FLIGHT WHITE YA'ERD?!?!!?)

Ibaka is the first person to ever do the free throw line dunk legitimately in the history of the contest.

Ibaka is a better dunker than the following, all who could not pull off the free throw dunk:

Dr J
Jordan
Barry

Yet all those guys won the contest, right?

Jordan had room to spare on his free throw dunk, FWIW. He just stepped over the line.

there are 2 MJ free throw line dunks. the one where he's about a half step inside the line always gets shown though. I guess because it looks better with how he kinda cocks the ball and pulls up his legs.

in the one a year or 2 before, he takes off from right at the line, with less movement. closer to what Ibaka did.
