Even though that's a lot of money, that's a good deal.

I'm beginning to question whether motorbreath is a troll.
Totally forgot about Ramos. Having him for the whole year will be a huge improvement considering the Nats lost their top 2 catchers and had to platoon Suzuki and Jesus Flores. I think Desmond played beyond what is reasonable to expect last year so his numbers should come down some while expecting a natural improvement in defense. Thats the only one who should have a noticeable decline season-season. All this is predicated on health however, and we know that will get blown up come April.
That rotation is downright filthy. Haren as the 4th starter with that outfield behind him? Very strong, as a longtime Orioles fan I would love to trade Matusz for Morse. Give us a power threat at first (occasional DH). While Matusz is becoming expendable in our pen, and can go a whole inning versus lefties and righties, while also throwing a spot start if needed. I'll trade the additional years of control of Matusz if he is destined to stay in the pen in Baltimore, which is looking more and more likely.

DC f@gs, what are they going to do once Rendon is ready? I'd imagine it's either let Desmond or Espinosa walk, and out of those two you keep Desmond. Zimm is under contract forever.
I think Desmond is a more natural defender at SS than Rendon. I imagine they'd slot Rendon in at 2nd. Espinosa is under team control through 2016 so he becomes either your super utility player along with Lombardozzi who can see spot time at SS, or he becomes trade bait.
