... and that’s including the two trips to Pocono.

LINK

The ill conceived Roval. Truex didn’t seem too impressed with it.

They eliminated the only exciting part of it by adding a chicane on the front stretch for safety into the 90 degree turn 1. Hope it’s just a one year experiment.

Disagree. Even though Charlotte isn't the worst track, the less 1.5 mile ovals the better. More road courses where the driver actually matters is a good thing.

I agree with you but I wish they would just go to a actual road course for the 3rd race. The gimmick version of Charlotte looks ridiculous.

Imsa prototype race Charlotte roval

Here’s the prototype race @ Charlotte from 1986, fast forward a few mins. To get to the start, nascars are gonna look so stupid @ this place, you’d think nascar would @ least run a race during the all star weekend there first to test out he viability

I'm still excited for it. Wish they'd get rid of the chicane but I'm not gonna judge it until after we see them in action.

I think Indy needs to be the road course or add Austin and drop a Pocono.

Anything to make Indy more exciting is fine by me.

That ride along was interesting. That track is gonna cause chaos. I wouldn't like it as a driver, but as a fan, it could be pretty fun to watch

I don’t get the hate for Pocono. It can be pretty entertaining at times.

There’s way too many 1.5 cookie cutters.

Charlotte 2x
Atlanta
Texas 2x
Vegas
Kansas
Chicago
Kentucky
Homestead

That’s what? 25% of the schedule?

NASCAR should stick to oval only. That is what NASCAR is about--ovals. I mean if racing fans want road courses they have F1. They need to race on 2 mile or greater or short tracks like Bristol. People want super speedways and short track bumping.

Charlotte 2x keep ("home track")

Texas 2x change to 1x
Vegas keep
Kansas dont care
Chicago don't care
Kentucky don't care
Homestead keep

Pocono is a cool and unique track... gotta keep it

Circuit of the Americas, Road America, and Laguna Seca would be cool additions

Michigan is a really great experience from what I hear. Keep it. I’m ok with dumping Chicago
