Since targeting has been well covered I will go to soccer/futbol/calcio and that is that a red card doesn't leave your team a man down. I've seen this ruin some good games.

I think a power play should end in hockey regardless of which team scores.

99% of the time this has happened in the last decade or so it’s been from some dumbass showboating and letting go of the ball before crossing the goal line.
