Not really. Apparently Vontaze was and it didn't kill his career since the Raiders signed him and he got that personal foul. Most importantly, all personal fouls are not created equal so nobody's one personal foul from a year long suspension.

Burfict played like 4 games before being suspended for the rest of the season. This was on a hit that most players miss a single game for, at worst.
