That's just dumb with Okie State at #4.

Id put Florida at 4 and USC at 5.

TTU needed OT to beat a bad Nebraska team today, Florida blew out a good LSU team by 30. TTU < UF

No way OU is lower than Florida. Not likely USC will be higher than Tx Tech.

WTF happened to USC today in the 3rd quarter. Was Sanchez bought?

Texas Tech is not really a legit top 10 team. There time will come.

They only true contendors IMO are

PSU-Easy schedule outside OSU
USC-Easy schedule the rest of the way
UT-Could go undefeated but will likely drop a game since the Big XII South is stacked
Bama-Very possibly undefeated heading to the SEC title game
UF/UGA winner-Will have a strong SOS and top 2 ranking if they win out
OU

Why doubt Okie St. at #4 right now? They are undefeated, play in the toughest conference in the nation, and just beat Missouri

They need to play Texas, Texas Tech and Oklahoma.

They will have to earn it.

why does lsu drop out of the top ten after a loss to top 15 florida and usc didnt drop out of the top ten after a loss to an UNRANKED OREGON STATE?

Because they didn't get abused. No way LSU is top ten after that loss. Florida's better than Oregon State, but we're falling below USC. I think if everyone were honest they'd acknowledge that USC is better than LSU. However, I'd love to play them in the Rose Bowl.

Let's see to add to the others LSU did not belong on the same field as Florida. You pretty much have to add the totals of every loss USC has had for the past 5 years to get to 30 points. Also wins over Ohio St., Oregon, and ASU are better than any win LSU has.

If anyone seriously thought LSU was a MNC contender then their P&G glasses were just glued onto their face.

Freshman QB
SEC
Lots of new defensive players

Equals a 3 loss season.

ASU is 2-4....not exactly a great win. I don't think Oregon is exactly decent either.

I agree, but the sad thing is they are still better than anyone LSU has beat to date.
