just because youre a random arse black dude, the NBA black dudes who have an issue with this are wrong?

Theeere ya go. Knew you'd find a way to keep walking the primrose path.

Now it's not about the person you disagree with being white, it's that the black dude is "random."

And, yes, the NBA players are wrong.

It absolutely does.

The league has had owners forever. The idea it's an offensive word is a 2018 development.

I see the logic in many of these social complaints, even if I disagree with them. This "owner" issue is fricking stupidity of the highest level. It has zero merit.

not when 90% of the league is poc dude

So first, I highly doubt the majority of black player give a rip about calling owners what they are.

Second, even if they did, that really doesn’t matter. A false idea doesn’t suddenly become a real one just because a majority of people believe it.

Does MJ have to give up his “owner” title too or is it just the whiteys?

I was just about to say this goober is like someone took all of the shittiest parts of a 2019 dialog and put them into one caricature of a person.

The word owner offends people? Give me a break

But in today’s world this actually plays. Let’s retroactively make something offensive when the context of it doesn’t even make sense.

You know better than most that if you're a black guy who doesn't follow the herd, you don't really count.

Y’all getting mad about this and reflexively defending the term “owner”:

sure, it’s silly to you, but it’s not silly to everyone. And what would it cost to change the term; nothing.

Yup. Or try to redefine common words or gestures to make them racist so we can virtue signal over them.

Racist Mr. Perfect knows all about this.

The definition of the word “owner” implies, at its core, that its silly. Just because someone isn’t smart enough to understand that shouldn’t mean the world has to change to them.

In a vacuum it's a harmless concession. However at some point you simply cannot cave to this kind of stupidity. At some point the principle matters.

When you automatically elevate or summarily dismiss someone's take due to their race (as you clearly did), that is textbook racism.
