The quote OP is sky screaming about is relative to the virus

Of course the protesting and large memorial day gatherings didn’t help

LeBatard seems to be (pretty obviously) saying he thinks if our initial response to Covid was better, we wouldn't have to worry about public health measures at this point.

I'm not sure I agree, but it isn't some crazy thing about how people should have their freedom taken away like OP's tripping out about.

Also, why is this on the MSB? This has nothing to do with sports.

and even then, this is a mixed bag. places like minneapolis, chicago, nyc, and dc are not seeing a spike even when considering those were major places of protesting but LA and atlanta are. with places like houston and central florida who are the two epicenters for the disease right now, those werent major protest locations and had been opened for a while until their spike happened. i wonder if it had more to do with just people getting lackadaisical as these states opened up early, didnt see a spike, and assumed it was over

Of course the protests didnt cause the spike when ppl were shoulder to shoulder spitting and sweating on each other

Only lackadaisical ppl that didnt wear a mask at a coffee shop are responsible for a spread

Eh I’m fully on pride’s train of thought that it has more to do with whether or not the city in question has had its big spike yet. Texas shut down before any major city had a big spike. We’re having the spike now so it appears we only postponed it.

If you look at NYC, their new cases per day has been dropping like crazy beause they already had their spike.

The spread is almost non existent outside and doesn’t spread through sweat.

It is absolutely much easier to spread indoors inside a bar or restaurant than it is outside no matter how crowded they are. We’ve seen proof of that here every sunny weekend since Easter. Large gatherings all over yet no spike until Texas opened phase 3.

But like I said in my previous post, it was inevitable. We only delayed the spike, we can’t prevent it entirely.

What have you read or heard that makes you believe it spreads through sweat?

What spin?

From the guy who just implied sweating on people was spreading it.

People like you and OP are hopeless. So blinded by politics and “my side is better than your side” to actually have a rational discussion. Then you whine and complain about people on the left doing the exact same.

That the protests could NOT cause a spike

You left out spit. Like the the "droplets". It was spit sweat semen touching cardboard, touching plastic on door knobs etc. We have heard it all

But you are now claiming it wont spread outside only inside at a bar.

They engage cause they want a discussion. Not everyone got destroyed on mutiple boards like yourself. We all know it caused you to run away.

Trump Derangement Syndrome is real and it has turned liberals and conservatives into fricking psychopaths. Everything is an ideological debate. It’s unbelievable at times.
