I actually took a lesson from BeaverPRO... He told me I needed to keep my right elbow from flying out...
I played Dumas this morning and shot a 92... I left a lot of shots out on the course though. I just wish I could be more consistent, I hit a good one then a bad, then a good recovery. I just want to string together a bunch of good ones

You try what I told you with the arms on the chest trick?

Mine is on a DVD from my last lesson. But I dont know how to download it to post it on here. But the simulator at the PGA Championship last year most compared it to Matt Kuchar. Just cuz Im tall if I had to guess.
ETA: Does anyone play the e6 or Qstar? I am tired of spending $4 a ball and playing Top Flites even the Gamer will get you laughed at in my experience.

I sure did ... It seemed to help fix the every so often worm burner! Thanks for the tip!

I'm almost out of Gamer 2s my Mom bought me for my birthday. I'll be moving to either the E7 or Titleist Velocity.

Hell of a god damn point. I can stop the game that is all I want a ball to do.
Do you play the Gamer?

Shake the haters, let your game do the talking.

The Velocity is Loooooong. So is the E7 from what I've seen. I didn't like the feel of the E6 when I've found them on the course.

I do not, but I have heard nothing but great things about them and wouldn't hesitate playing one.

Ive been using the Z-Star and I like it. My favorite is the 330, just really like the way I can draw it. But I really cant justify spending that much all the time. The gamer it is.

I can back up a Pro V1x about 2-3 feet typically. The Gamer 2 hops and rolls out about 2 feet usually.

Velocity is 26 a dozen.

I typically play ProV1x "practice" balls (not to be confused with X-outs, which do have physical defects that can affect play). There is nothing wrong with them other than minor paint blemishes. They are about 30 bucks a dozen at edwinn watts, which I think is a bargain given they are exactly the same as full retail Prov1/x's. So that might be an option if you want a premium ball and don't want to pay 45. Also, the practice balls are legal for USGA rounds, whereas X-Outs are not.

Can someone give me a review on the Gamer?
I'm trying to find a ball that i can control on chips as well as wedge shots. Basically I want to be able to stop it on wedge shots and mid irons, and I want predictable roll for my chip and pitch shots.
I bought some Noodle softs and I liked them, but they are SO undurable, I had to switch balls after like 10-15 shots.
I dont wanna spend a lot of $$$ on a ball so I was thinking the Gamer v2, is this going to give me what I want?

That is an option thanks. When I play the ZStar it will plug and simply roll out. When I play the Gamer sometimes it doesnt roll out...

I can do all of this with the Gamer v2. And I would strongly recommend it. As far as other things I have heard... Heard very good things about the QStar by Srixon.

Mom got me 6 dozen Gamer 2 from eBay for 60. Like I said, they typically hop and roll a foot or so. Honestly from tee to green they won't hurt you. Putting on the other hand...leaves a lot to be desired. I'll have 7-8 putts a round that just EXPLODE off the face.
