Didn't want to start a thread for this, but thought I'd share this golf deal

LINK

You can buy the cards individually but it's a much better deal to get both

I haven't heard much, though I have heard that he is very competent. If I'm not mistaken, his teaching is very "impact specific", if that makes sense

Tim Brown is at Cypress Lakes, heard good things about him. Scot is at Grand Ridge, seems like a nice guy but don't know anything about him as an instructor.

He's more of a feel teacher by the sound of it.

Tim goes to Cypress Lakes and he's also at Timberlane in Gretna...bout 10 minutes from my office.

Scot seems to be turning things around at Grand Ridge. I've taken a couple lessons from him.

I've always been under the belief that if they don't have the equipment to back their teaching up, no teacher working straight from his mind is worth more than $50 an hour...

I was talking to James Leitz yesterday waiting for the rain to clear and he was telling me about a recent lesson he gave to a guy from houston. The guy was getting lessons from some teacher in houston with a trackman charging hundreds an hour. He starts swinging and the trackman reads that he is swinging 10 degrees to the right and somehow after multiple lessons, the teacher from houston has never noticed this. The lesson here, just because someone has the equipment doesn't mean they know shite.

Very true...but normally those who are very knowledgable without the equipment will pick up on that

Thats why I go to Leitz...he knows his shite!

Was he learning from Haney. Supposedly that's what Tiger was doing when he joined Foley.
