He was a solid wrestler before it became about more about the show and less about the skill.

Fewer bended knees and more knee lifts.

He was one of the first wrestlers I remember.

His wife made a lot of Ric Flair's robes and gear for other wrestlers.

Loved when he was the mentor for Magnum TA in mid south. And then turned on him.

He was the thinking mans wrestler, always two or three move ahead.

I used to love how he would load up his boot, a move I'm sure he learned in the far east.

I was but a kid watching him at East Houma Recreation Center but he was my favorite. We used to call his move the knee lip as kids...lol.

RIP Mr. Walker

I loved the “high knee drop.” I was always waiting for the mask to be pulled off. It would get up above his nose and he would escape...every time. He and Harley Race has a couple of epic matches. I always rooted against Superstar because I thought he was trying to copy 2.

My favorite as well, Master of the Knee Lift.

Got my nickname from being a fan of his and most of my friends still call me "Two" to this day.

RIP Mr. Wrestling II.

I got to meet him at the coliseum in Alexandria after some matches one night. I might have been 8. Gave me an autographed photo. Pretty cool experience.

Sad day indeed. My best friend and I went to see #2 and I believe Bill Watts versus the Assassin and the Angel at Municipal Auditorium in Shreveport back in the day. After the match we followed #2 as he was walking out of the arena. For some reason my friend reached up and grabbed his mask. 2 quickly turned around and came within an inch of knee lifting his arse. Still one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Mr. Wrestling II was a hero in my childhood.Does anyone remember the Glass Joe of WCW, Mike Jackson? He looked like Kenny Loggins and I don't remember him ever winning a match. Good Times!

(edit) I didn't remember the chest hair and bald spot. He also looks 5'6" in this clip: Mike Jackson - WCW
