Whoa...... you have zero clue about how I watch a game......I’ve been following the NBA for almost 50 years. Don’t EVER try to come at me with that garbage excuse...... I know where certain players belong on certain lists. You, not so much. Maybe because I have never been a homer fan like you.

I am not a homer fan either. I said just yesterday I put shaq over my 2nd favorite player of all time Hakeem. Lots would take hakeem over him. I use the same standards to evaluate all players, I don’t switch them up based on who the players are. I do the same for the mvp race each year. Same criteria. Doesn’t change based on who the players are.

nope. I am a fan of all teams and all players. I am not the kinda fan who hates the opponent like the LSU fans who HATE bama. I don’t have a dislike for any other teams.

Even golden state a team who has knocked harden out the playoffs 4 times. I don’t hate them one bit. I have respect and admiration for them.

Chris Bosh, especially since his role was reverting back into a primary option when blood clots took him out.

Ray Allen-way more than a shooter in his Bucks/Sonics days

Danny Manning, but if I start listing injury plague players I could be here forever. He was near elite when healthy.

Jamal Mashburn

Michael Finley

Vernon Maxwell

Eddie Jones

Terry Cummings

Brad Daugherty

Detlef Schrempf

AK-47

Current players?

Spencer Dinwiddie

So why the hate for Stockton????? He was just out there to do his job. Like feeding the ball to the open man or get some garbage shots.... just doing his job..... Harden is just doing his job. So why the hate?????? And who is the better player. Magic or Bron???????

Stockton was the favourite player of a lot of the racist I grew up with. They would not have a favorite player unless he was white. I wasn’t raised like that. They always said Stockton was better than he really was. That made me dislike him. He was overrated.

Jermaine O’Neal was a solid big man for a long time. Tim Hardaway and Glen Rice are probably under appreciated. Antoine Walker, Antonio Mcdyess. Rick Fox was a homeless man’s Scottie Pippen in LA. Rip Hamilton had years of borderline dominance without being able to shoot the basketball from 3, which is impressive for a skinny wing player.

Good call on O’Neal. Artest in Indy was a top 15ish player.

I’m on the fence about Walker.
Kirk Goldsberry put a shot chart of his recently on his IG. Yikes might be an understatement.

I feel Walker left a lot on the table...he had a well rounded skill set coming in.

But at least he got paid.(even though he went broke).

I can't believe I didn't post this earlier, and I don't know if anyone else did, but I've always thought Eddie Jones was hugely underrated.

He was an explosive athlete, great defender and good shooter. I legit thought he could have grown into a Scottie Pippen level guy if he'd been able to have that Pippen role.

Stockton was an almost perfect point guard. He rarely made a mistake and ran the offense to perfection. He has 2 records (assists, steals) that will never be broken. People may look at his scoring average and discount it but if you ever seen him play he could dominate a game just by how he ran the offense.

I have no qualms labeling him a top 30 all time NBA player. I'm not 100% he's the second best PG ever, but I wouldn't argue with anyone who slots him there.

My only disagreement would be with anyone who had him as top 5 (like Rou Leed) or top ten or labels him the best PG ever. Don't get me wrong, he's a great player. I'd have him in the 20-30 range and the 2nd or 3rd best PG ever.
