Earl Jesus Monroe’s becoming VASTLY UNDERAPPRECIATED the further we get removed from that era and those who witnessed him start to fade away, same with Dr. J. Next to Pistol, those dudes REVOLUTIONIZED the game of basketball with their showmanship and talents, created fans for the next generation, set the template for the style of play future generations would emulate, and propelled professional basketball to the American mainstream. Those guys were UNSTOPPABLE but get overlooked because, like many things and institutions on earth, evolution but they should never be forgotten when we talk about the greats of basketball.

Barry was a stud but was the Isiah Thomas of his generation for everyone had beef with him because he was an arse. That Warriors team definitely should’ve at least Advanced to face the Celtics in the 1976 Finals to repeat, losing to Phoenix in 7 AT HOME was inexcusable.

And Connie Hawkins. An entire era that's underappreciated.

Monroe (the OG "Black Jesus") and Hawkins were both so smooth on the court.
