Stocktons career high was 34 pts. He wasnt a give him the ball and isolate type player. He probably didnt have another gear with regards to scoring. He pretty much controlled every game the Jazz won for 20 years from first whistle to last. He would of had a shot at the 98 finals MVP if not for Jordan, but every player in that era can say the same thing.

Dunno about that. He averaged 10 points and 9 assists a game. Malone had 25 and 10 and I'm pretty sure he would have been the MVP.
Those two Finals series encapsulate Stockton for me. He had 15-9 in 97 and 10-9 in 98. Those are good, solid stat lines. He contributed, played solid, mistake free ball and good D.
It's also only 12.5 and 9 per game over the two years. Solid, good, but never that next level the greats went to.
If I wanted 16, 12 and solid D night in, night out for 82 games, Stockton would be the guy. If I wanted someone to dominate a playoff series, Stockton would probably be the last of the guys I consider top 30 players I'd choose.

Rodman probably overrated. Larry is accurate.

Rodman did his job. Again please tell us about how Stockton was a dirty player.....

If somebody told you this guy will play for 20 years, lead nba all time in assists and steals, go to playoffs every year, and only miss like 20 games the whole time you draft the guy. You dont ask if hes white or if he can be an explosive scorer. You just draft and sign the guy immediately.

BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When an Aggie, and especially that guy, acts like a tough guy I always get a real kick out of it.

No, Harden is too soft to do those things. Hes trying to find new ways to flop to the line.
HardLn's head still isn't right since Artest knocked it into about 2030
Posted on 5/15/20 at 12:32 pm to Boomshockalocka
You think Harden is better than Magic???????
Posted on 5/15/20 at 12:33 pm to dukke v
statistically he is a lot better than magic. But I am Not a stats guy. I am eye test. I go with magic.

Coming from the guy that didn't like Stockton because he was a big meanie on the court means absolutely nothing to me
You're the guy that calls fouls every time someone touches you at the rec center

Thank you for saying you are NOT a stats guy...... but yet you go over and over about Hardens regular season stats.... why is that????????
Posted on 5/15/20 at 12:41 pm to dukke v
I am an eye test guy. But you will never be able to see the game thru my eyes. You will never be able to see the game as good as me. Stats are a good way for me to help explain to you what I am seeing. to show you how player A Is better than player B.
