Had a foul ball hit towards me at the Braves' game tonight, and I dropped it. Sitting on the third base side about 7 rows back from the side of the outfield in between third and LF. Tracked the som' bitch all the way into where it hits my hand, couldn't hold on, and it dribbled down three rows in front of me. The amount of shame I felt moments after realizing what had happened was insurmountable, especially after having told my friend innings earlier that I would for sure bare hand anything hit my way. This will surely haunt me to my grave.

watching Guice fall one foot short of beating Florida in 2016. Left that game disgusted at the whole program

Being too drunk. Does that count?

Otherwise, I’ve seen too many beatings to count. Seeing Baylor (led by Guy Morris) beat us in 2004 was pretty bad

Watching Tulane lose to ULM like 70 to 10... I honestly wanted us to kill the football program after that game

I let an LSU girl put an LSU hat on my head after the 2011 Arkansas-LSU game.

I did it for the sex but I'm still ashamed.

I was at the national title game in January 2013 for Notre Dame against Alabama. Not a fun game to be at for an ND fan and very embarrassing for our program.

I still do think we would've fared quite a bit better with just a week off instead of a month given Saban's history in such circumstances, but the fall out the next few days with Te'o's fake girlfriend and Kelly's Eagles interview compounded an already shameful situation.

I was also at Medinah on Sunday in 2012 and was on the 18th green for Kaymer's putt. Probably the lowest I've ever felt as a serious golf fan.

Man I was in the exact situation last year but I caught the ball - was 7th row behind the Astros dugout at Kauffman and caught a McCann foul ball. ESPN broadcast too - thank fricking Christ I caught it!

I was there too. I was embarrassed walking out of the stadium. We won, but I didn't feel good about it.

leaving the Browns-Saints game from the Super Dome after a last second hail mary won it for Cleveland in 1999.

I usually could/can laugh off bad luck or freak plays but that day it was just different.

My step dad who took me to see the game tried to cheer me up . He immediately went to the well of the Browns historic misfortunes but being young (at the time) and not listening, I missed several good points.

i'm sure some where in there he mentioned "at least you didn't pay for the tickets or the food/gas."

2014 Tennessee 3 @ Ole miss 34

God we played so awful, sure we were outmatched all the way around but it was just such a shitshow. Our oline was AWFUL and Worley was still starting, being immobile as he was he was massacred. I drank and drank and drank but it didn't lessen the pain any

I was even in Oxford for the somewhat unexpected asswhipping they gave us in 2009 but for some reason this felt much, much worse

When I was a kid I went to an LSU basketball game and I pretended to be one of the mop boys or whatever you call them and got on the court pregame where all the other mop kids were shooting around. Air balled about 5 in a row in front of a half full stadium. I’m sure they weren’t paying attention but still...

I tailgate pretty hard for football but in my 28 years of living I’ve never been to drunk inside of a game. I’ve always had that fear of being “that guy” that pukes on somebody or falls down the steps or misses an awesome game because of over doing it so I’ve always paced myself really well if I know I’m going in the game

Does communal shame count?

I was a freshman at Mississippi State in the student section during the State-South Carolina game. Carolina had a WR get hurt pretty bad and they needed to have the cart come out and get him. After a few minutes of working to get him ready to get on the cart, some redneck stands up and yells "Scrape that [attractive and successful African-American] up off the field and let's play FOOTBAW!" Nobody said a word to the guy.

That was definitely a "Welcome to Mississippi" moment for me.

Friend that went to uga got me and a buddy into the uga student section for the Lsu game in 2005 I think it was. Xavier carter kneeled the ball on the 1 on a kickoff and we got blown out.

Purple in a see of red was the “alone in a crowd” moniker too a T

I was out of the student section and the stadium when cop stop us to tell us we had another play. I listened to win on the radio on the back of the cop car, it felt like a L.

1/9/12: I basically meltdown in the super dome I couldn’t believe what i was watching. It changed the way I let sport effect my life

LSU-Arkansas 2007-short lived though

Saints-Redskins 2017, was with about 9 of my friends who were all Saints fans. It was an incredible shite talking game for about 58 minutes and then...
