shel, you didn't know that every year in the NBA's history has at least one variable over the 82-game regular season and playoffs that makes it different than every other year?

I don't know, I'm kind being convinced that they were all EXACTLY the same...except for 2020

He does?

That's interesting, because he said otherwise in this very thread, but go off!

Did the 2020 season stop on March 11th then resume with seeding games on July 30th to begin the postseason? How many days are in between March 11th and July 30th? The 21-2022 NBA Season ended on June 16th. The 2022-23 season began on October 18th. How many days between june 16th and October 18th?

Answer these questions other than saying “I don’t know”

You want me to lie or do you want an honest answer.

Tell me that, and I'll answer accordingly.

Thank you for answering.

no other championship in NBA history before or after the bubble has the equivalent of an off season of rest between the end of the regular season grind and the start of the postseason. Hence, the bubble doesn’t count, regardless of who won it.

Sorry. I’m not convinced. Your gobbling of brons package is almost as bad as booms of harden.

We have multiple guys in this thread covering their ears and just going "la la la la" at actual facts, so come on in, we have room for 1 more.

No shite. NOBODY is arguing otherwise.

So what other idiosyncratic qualifiers disqualify NBA titles?

Are you just allowing that one individual one that happens to help a hyper specific argument you're making?

How many titles did Jordan win in a 30-team league?

Wouldn't it be easier to win a title in a 30 team league because of dilution of talent by adding 2 more teams?

LA didn't get the benefit of a 1 seed whatsoever. It's probably the most even, fair, set of conditions for a playoffs ever.

That depends. There's MUCH more talent in the NBA today than the 80s/90s, even with more teams.

And, in that case, if there were still fewer teams wouldn't that make it more difficult? The 30 team argument goes in direct opposition to the point you are attempting to make

You’re arguing that’s it’s the same or at the very worst an “idiosyncratic” qualifier when it’s a gigantic gulf the equivalent of crowning a champion in the 1st or 2nd month of the next season. Which mathematically speaking, is.

Nothing is even close to that anomaly.

Not if it's an 8 team league and your team has like 8 Hall of Famers or some shite.

Another qualifier to add to Russell has 0 titles FACTUALLY!!!

If that's the case, what's the point in having an 82 game regular season? Why not just have 2-4 weeks of seeding games, and then have the playoffs?
