Ndamukong Suh, Thanksgiving Day 2011

Suh:

quote:

My intention was not to kick anybody, as I did not, removing myself. I was on top of a guy, being pulled down, and trying to get up off the ground -- and why you see me pushing his helmet down, because I'm trying to remove myself from the situation, and as I'm getting up, I'm getting pushed, so I'm getting myself on balance.

He originally said “ I don’t know where he got the idea to try and spike the ball”.
Then the video aired of Les running down the sideline emphatically motioning for the spike. So he had to come up with another excuse and I guess that was the best he could come up with.

When Peyton Manning used the excuse that he didn’t want to ruin the moment for Drew Brees after he stormed off the field like a giant vagina right after the Super Bowl. It’s never stopped anyone else from quickly shaking hands and then heading to the locker room.
