Moscona and Theriot

This hour gets more brutal every week. It's all because of Matt trying way too hard to be buddies with Theriot.
Theriot is obviously knowledgable and deserves to showcase it more than he's able to on Matt's show. The schtick is funny sometimes but ther are times when being serious is more important than Matt trying to be "cool" with Ryan.
Earlier on today's show, they are discussing Bregman's first few games with Houston and Ryan is talking about a conversation he had with Bregman regarding the MLB pitchers. Theriot made the comment that now that he's in the bigs, it's time to "buckle the chin strap". Matt immediately throws the discussion off by asking Ryan if baseball players wear chinstraps. This went on way too long.
You can clearly tell that this shite gets to Ryan at times. His reaction was one of "what the frick?"
Anyone else get sick of Matt trying too hard with Theriot?

It's the fake laughing after every single thing Ryan says , also he tries to make jokes that aren't funny at all. He just went on for a minute asking Ryan if baseball players wear chin straps. I mean, really?

Matt also doesn't shut the frick up during kick rocks. He kept interrupting theriot the whole time.

I feel like only a 20 year old frat dude would enjoy that hour, and I agree that 90% of the blame goes to Matt, who I otherwise don't mind listening to.

I used to love Matt, but now he annoys me. He needs to lower his volume and just talk. Like I read on here before, he needs a co-host. The worst part is when he yells a sponsor's number at you three times in a row.

Matt becomes an uber douche when Theriot comes on. The poop pillow bit was awesome. Matt goes on and on about how Theriot was probably turning around and heading to the store to get him a pillow or he would show him some internet invoice saying it was being shipped to his house like he and Theriot are besties. Theriot shows up and doesn't know what he's talking about.

I hate when Mascona laughs too hard at things that aren't really funny. It makes it uncomfortable to listen to.

Moscona seems like a good enough dude but his over the top ways with Theriot is so tired. I wish he would just let Theriot just casually talk about the topics in a professional way. It can't ever happen though because Matt derails it as soon as he starts talking.
