I'd stay right where they are. Why should they be mid-tier G5 programs when they can have meaningful rivalry games all season and into the playoffs?

I mean NDST went into Colorado and gave them all they could handle on the road. SDST gave Iowa St a run for their money. They would go into any G5 conference and be a top tier team immediately.

Montana and Montana St are top tier FCS programs and the Dakotas run laps around them every year.
