I never got this from the get go.

Molina didn't tag him, Ellis ran into his glove.

His glove pretty clearly makes contact with Ellis' forearm and it's not even really close.

Agree.

Mattingly didn't say who made the decision to send him. My guess is that it was Wallach. I don;t want to think that Mattingly made two bad decisions, the first being pinch runnning for Agon.

When you see it in slow-mo it's clear that Molina never tagged him.

You're right, his elbow tags the glove for him.

Watch it in slow-mo in the link provided on page 1. He never tags him. it's clear. Even the announcers on TBS after the game said Molina didn't tag him. They said Ellis should be out because the ball beat him to the plate, but this is the NLCS. "Close" isn't good enough IMO.

Watching slow-mo his elbow clearly hits the glove.

Get over it.

I'm not sure what you're watching, but all 4 of the announcers on TBS said the same thing I'm saying.

In all fairness, Ultimate, I don;t think that LA is whining about the call, he's just stating fact.

What are you, like 12 years old? You do understand this is a message board for people to discuss sports, right?

The only fact he's stating is that he was out. About it.

The ump called Ellis out. I can't argue with that, but it doesn't mean that the call was correct. How many ball/strike calls did you protest tonight? It didn't change anything. The OP is just saying what he saw and what announcers said. What's the big deal?
