Thread - Lions vs Giants
He was inexplicably terrible in the first half but much better in the second half.

This can be summed up with "He was Eli Manning."

Every movie I've ever seen says this is the same thing, basically.

They look good. Scored pretty well on two great defenses to start the season.

Also faced two shite offenses.

Lions are good they just cant run the ball. That will ultimately kill them

I hate it for them because I really like their team. Stafford is one of my favorite QBs to watch.

The Lions had more rushing yards than passing tonight...

They had one good run all night and it was when the Giants had given up. They have been last in the league the last two years and nothing has changed

Detroit looked awfully good tonight. It's really hard to win road games in the NFL, especially at night. Falcons @ Lions will be a war next week.

I mean, even if you take away the long run at the end, they still outrushed both teams they played.

Not saying they're a great rushing team but they aren't all out air-raid like they were a few years back.

I like atl in the dome. Think it is inevitable we go into NE undefeated just to lose

Well they will need more than 250 yards to beat the falcons next week. Arizona and NYG aren't exactly good offenses.

The game next week is going to be extremely hard hitting. Will need some extra oxycontin in the training rooms.

Gonna be a hell of a game. Think Falcons roll though. Only way they stay in it is if the Lions d-line terrorizes Ryan.

Stafford will have to play perfect which I'm not sure can be done if he is forced to throw the ball 45 times

If Schrader is out, Ryan will get hit a lot.

ETA: Really curious to see what kind of line Vegas puts out for this game. They have to have made a killing on the first two Falcons games. Atlanta didn't cover 6.5 at Chicago and easily covered 3.5 last night
