Rich Smith ?@ALLsportsINTEL 1h MLB – Dodgers are reportedly willing to trade any 3 top prospects to Phillies for Cliff Lee and take on all of Lee’s contract.
No way this is true, at least not the prospects part.

Trade 3 out of Corey Seager, Joc Pederson, Zach Lee, Julio Urias, or Chris Anderson for Lee? I don't see it. They especially won't part with Seager. Not for a pitcher who turns 35 in a month.

Dbacks not interested in starting pitcher Bud Norris of Houston 5:44 PM - 30 Jul 2013

Brian McTaggart of MLB.com said that no deal involving Norris is imminent. He does, however, believe a deal involving Norris is likely. If a deal does send Norris to the Pirates, the deal would not include Gregory Polanco, according to Jeff Passan of Yahoo! Sports. The Astros, however, do like right-handed pitcher Tyler Glasnow, so he could be in the deal. But, according to Bill Brink of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the Pirates are an unlikely landing spot for Norris.

Or he might be the long term solution at 3B. I know he's playing SS in A-ball right now, but I'm not sure he can play there in the bigs.

especially since hanley is back to looking like one of the best in baseball. if we dont make any waves with utley or cano. expect him to play 2nd. but he has been discussed as our 3rd baseman moving foward

I've been surprised at Hanley's defense. I'm not saying he's a Gold Glove guy at SS, but he's been better with the glove than I thought he'd be. He may not be winning us any games with the glove, but he's not losing us any games with the glove either. And of course with the bat he's been the hottest hitter on the club.

How about Freese, Seth Blair, and one between Keith Butler/Blazek/Siegrest?

Think the Red Sox feel they need to make a splash. Rays have caught them and lots of uncertainty with Buchholz.

@Ken_Rosenthal: Whatever is going on with #RedSox - if anything - does not involve Cliff Lee.
