cute but I don't have a need to know about him right now in my life. Just following the trades that are relevant

So by the reaction of the board Oakland made a killing?

The only way this is salvaged, for the dodgers, if this turns out to be some weird three way deal like two winters ago. But as it stands right now, this is a horrific trade

I don't know much about those prospects, but the Dodgers also do a good job of rounding out their roster with Reddick and Hill.

Redick & Hill are good MLB players. The prospects are good too, but was a fair price for those 2 guys

My problem is that they're rentals and this dodger team is, realistically, not a legit WS contender without kershaw. We just picked up two rentals for no real reason

Rosenthal: Cubs talking to Angels about Joe Smith. Other opportunities, as well.

I never buy this mentality anymore. With the WC game anything is possible, NO ONE thought the Mets were WS contenders either. And I doubt if the Dodgers are done with trades

They could definitely resign them. They are also no longer eligible for the qualifying offer, per Robert Murray.

I have no problem moving Cotton, but Holmes and Montas are future studs. Montas would be in the bigs right now if he hadn't been injured. He could be a future closer. Holmes is probably two years away, but he's a solid #2 guy in the rotation. Not very happy with this trade.
