That's a fair price. I love all three guys but Chi Chi doesn't miss enough bats and should profile more as a 3 or 4. I'm on the fence of how well Alfaro will hit. Mazara is Mazara. He's the center piece and well you have to give something to get something. I'd have to get some money back in return though. And while they would want Mazara, they could settle with Nick Williams and it should still be enough to get Hamels.

I would love to have Hamels come to Arlington, but not at this price tag

Sounds like the Dodgers got Latos pretty much for free by just agreeing to take on Morse's contract, which makes sense since this is the Marlins.

Morse is just the new Ryan Webb. Doubt he ever suits up for LA. Bet he’ll be instal-DFA’d and shipped to a team that wants a cheap DH.

The #Dodgers, who sought two starters all along, still have their sights on landing the big one: #Tigers David Price or #Phillies Cole Hamels

What would LA's trade package look like for either? Obviously Seager and Urias are off the board

It would start at jose de leon, a fringe top 30 prospect, and grant holmes, a fringe top 50 prospect. From there it's anyone's guess. Have to expect a major league bat will be going so maybe ethier and then another top 10 organizational prospect. That would be for Cole. I think other teams could beat that. I really don't know what David Price would command
