Red Sox fans had a conspiracy that the Yankees brought Ronan Tynan out to sing God Bless America during the 7th inning stretch of playoff games because it caused a longer break and would throw off opposing pitchers. Which it did several times in the playoffs.

A HBP like that cost Jordan Westburg 2 months last season.
Not every team needs to be represented in an ALL STAR game. This pitcher would barely fit in the prospects game. A 4.26 ERA does not deserve consideration.
