Jordan is a better pure scorer than LeBron. But LeBron had much more durability.

Neither of those things are debatable..

Does scoring titles matter when you're the all-time leading scorer?

Jordan also embraced his receding hairline, unlike LeBosley.

Jordan was so much more of an alpha when the game was different compared to today.

LeBron is the best player of his time.

That is where the conversation ends to me.

Which means he made the finals 4 more times than Jordan.

87 thru 92, MJ averaged 5 straight seasons of atleast 51% FG shooting. LeBron has never done this.

Come again? LeBron has 10 seasons where he has shot over 51%

Funny nobody cared about that when Kareem was the leader as he was often ignored during GOAT discussions.

Kareem 20 years, LeBron 18 years.

But no one says LeBron's scoring leader list had anything to do with longevity like Kareem.

Meh, Kareem is greater than Lebron. Everybody sleeps on that guy.

We’re missing a couple of stats it seems. Just to name a few:

-Series wins over 73 win teams
-Career Points
-Career Rebounds
-Career Assists
-Playoff records prior to having a HOF teammate
-Playoff game winning shots

The below statement can't be true

MJ is 1-9 in the playoffs and 154-170 in the regular without Pippen.

That can't be true. I've been told Pippen was an average player that Jordan made great.

LeBron James is now the NBA's all-time scoring leader. He passed the record of 38,387 points held by Hall-of-Fame center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar since 1984. James did it in fewer games and minutes played. King James can't be pigeonholed or put in any type of category. His stats defy comparison because no one in the history of NBA basketball has them.

MJ was simply a volume scorer in the NBA. In the mold of Kobe Bryant and Allan Iverson. Chunk City was what he did and that's why it took Phil Jackson to get him to share the ball. Scotty Pippen was right when he said if you ever throw the ball to MJ you would never see it again. Until Jackson put some type of governor on MJ he was a loser with a great scoring stat line.

Until Phil Jackson went to LA, Kobe Bryant was just another volume scorer who wouldn't share. And he and Shaq had nothing to show for it just like Scotty and Jordan. Phil Jackson is the real hero for both teams.
