I hope Alabama does the same.

Jk, i think it's dumb that people care about this ad campaign. I can't even muster an ounce of anger over it.

I would love to see a powerhouse school try this where 85% of the team (and 100% of the reason they win) are black players directly affected by foul police practices.

I'm pretty sure their target athlete isn't black so they are just appeasing their base

No joke. LSU had 3 players suspended for "legitimate" arrests over the summer, we could really use them.

Amazingly Nike wouldn't promote a guy like Tebow or Pat Tillman but a guy who kneels against a nation that provided him and Nike access to make millions... they are promoting more division. I'll never wear it again, Nike =FUBU now.

You miss the point... inclusive doesn't mean you divide people. Last time I checked Nike was built in the so called"white america" ... like most of the people who pay for the tickets to watch black athletes... better realize who your market is before the smart money leaves...

You forget who pays to watch.... those thousands upon thousands of white fans... who pay to see. What happens when you exclude your market? No one cares and you become irrelevant... Nike is the new FUBU ????

It was a dumb business decision and their stockholders are probably unhappy but this isn't gonna do hardly anything to Nike.

You might be right... but I am in the investment business and clients are calling and emailing to dump the stock. They call it a "crap" company. I look for UA to get a boost in sales growth ??

So basically blacks can't do anything without the support of white people.... Good to know

I'm always skeptical of these moves as an easy marketing ploy, but it's smart to take advantage of it nonetheless.

Is college of the Ozarks the school that accepts a smaller percentage of applicants than Harvard? Gives them all full rides, but they have to work while in school? If so, I don’t think they need marketing. If not. You may be on to something.

Your clients are overly emotional and didn't say shite when Nike outperformed the S&P by 50% over the past 5 years.

ETA - I say that because I deal with the same stuff.

ETA.2 - also, what company takes orders via email? Not many I can recall.

I don't think anyone really cares what's going on at 1400 attendance nowhere University.

They will now, otherwise we wouldn’t be discussing a school with 1400 people on the MSB

I know nothing about the school, just mentioning my general attitude to these things.
