Posted this on Travel Board also, but hope to get a bigger array of opinions here.

Hoping to go catch an Astros game while I’m in Houston in early April. What are the thoughts on sitting in the outfield Crawford Boxes or BullPen Boxes. Or what are some of the better seats for what you pay

I’ve sat in the Crawford Boxes. Other than being close to where I parked and possibly getting a homerun ball, it’s not an amazing view. I mean, you’re in the outfield. But that’s just me personally. A lot of people like those seats.

Good if you are looking to crank a couple of art cars

There really isn’t a bad seat in the house.

Crawford Boxes are great for trying to catch a home run ball...and not much else. You've got a ton of blind spots to on field action. Anything in deep LF or left center you can't see.

Easy access to the bar. Thats about it. Outfield seats like that and the seats on top of the green monster in Boston are big overrated to me. I'd much rather be above the dug out.

I actually love the club level at MMP. Not fighting as big of a crowd for concessions and bathrooms, great view. My personal favorite.

I've been fortunate to have a vendor give me tickets that are directly behind the 3rd base dugout on the home plate side. For me, those are the bests seats in the house.

If you're going to Cr. Boxes, make sure they are having batting practice and get there for it. You can get bp homer balls, but you gotta fight a little for them.

Been to a bunch of games at MMP. Avoid first base line for the most part - sun is directly in your eyes. Third base line from dugout to line is my preference. Crawford boxes are very good - but usually hard to come by. I have often bought cheap seats the day of the game and stood by the gas pump for the game. You actually hang over the outfield.

I have to agree standing by the gas pump is the best spot in the stadium if you are looking for a cheap ticket.

Why do grown adults do this?

I suggest Club level for best view, access to concessions, movement around the concourse, etc. It’s a little pricier but it’s worth the extra cost.

I echo others’ opinions about Crawford Boxes. There are a few blind spots that I don’t like. It’s good to do it once but other than that, it’s nothing special.

My favorite as well. My go to is usually the last 3 sections closest to the Crawford Boxes. I wanna say 206-208? They kinda jut out towards the foul pole so you feel like you're closer to the field and usually cheaper than the club sections closer to home. Easy stroll downstairs to the Saint Arnold bar and team store, plus you can order beers in club past the 7th inning cutoff (if that's of any value to you).

Cuz it's fun and life is short. We challenge each other to catch them bare-handed. Then give them to the grandkids.

This was funnier in your head, and even there, it wasn’t that funny.

The right field section closest to the foul pole , with a row close to the wall is great.

I'm a fan of right field. Good view and usually better bang for your buck if you're dead set on being on the first level.

i paid a high price for lower level seats for the last playoff game i went to.. then me and my buddys were able to get great standing room only spots on the rail in front of the bar in centerfield and i never made it to my seat i couldve saved $200 on standing room only tickets

if you can swing tickets in 154/153 they are normally pretty reasonable.

I don't like being unable to see the bullpen corner on fly balls but Iike the atmosphere of the Crawford Boxes
