if there was a betting favorite for how he's cheating, it involves that producer sending him information about the cards
if you somehow have somebody away from the table who can see the players' cards, then yeah that's an effective way to cheat

and just to be clear, i'm not condoning cheating. I think he's a piece of shite if he really is cheating. But in the world we live in, if you give people an inch, they will take a mile. People cheat at everything possible.

The production crew watches the live feed in order to input graphics on screen. At the least, these guys have access in real time to everyone's hole cards.
