I have never had someone lay hands on me at work. It would not be ok if someone did. This isn't a bar. These people are professionals.

Eta: furthermore getting in a heated emotional argument at work is itself unprofessional, even before getting physical, and I have managed to almost entirely avoid it. People have tried a couple of times, and I have managed to not engage.

No I've never been pushed at work or pushed anyone else. I hope you weren't being serious.

This.

I've had a hand put one me ONCE during a job in college. No shove. Just heated. This was when I was a young man about 22 and in the gym all the time. The manager was a smallish fella. I just looked down at him and his hand.

He realized how foolish it was and how wrong he was to put hands on someone. In addition I feel he realized escalating things further would end poorly.

To my young credit I did not feel a need to pummel an older and smaller man. And I had a serious case of redass.

That was about 1995.

This day and age, you don't touch another person. Unless separating two other idiots who got "heated".

Goodell's mother should have had an abortion.

Maybe he's the result of it. She honestly should've swallowed.

Mike Pereira

I hate Goodell more than most for ruining the game by his insistence on ham-stringing defenses.

But Pereira is not only a pompous-arse but has just as much harm in confusing basic rules in football for the general audience.

Just tell us what a fricking catch is! Jesus Christ, the guy on replays is infuriating. He's made football into Ouija Board mixed with Quantum Physics. A legal catch is part science, part mystical.

I'm no Goddell fan, but this writer must be a woman, or an incredible pussy. This sounds like to grown men having discussion that got intense. Goddell probably pushed Pereira in a manner of "let's get in here and talk about it." Have any of you been in an office when things got heated? I know I've been "pushed" into my office and "pushed" other men into theirs.

Oh yeah have you ever had your stuff pushed in real good?
